the mortgage lending project...

There are a couple of industries in which web sites are almost always canned in terms of look and function. One such industry is lending. This particular client had been paying thousands for a canned website and hosting from a company who "specialized" in sites for mortgage brokers. The old site consisted primarily of graphics and a few links to mortgage calculators. The client did not see any return on his investment and was ready to pull the plug on the web in general.

We met with Mortgage Lending and helped arrive at designing a basic web presence which was clean and concise, yet contained plenty of text so that search engines could adequately crawl the pages. We also moved the site to a cheaper hosting company which allowed for incredible savings over the previous host. The site was designed to serve as more of a brochure that could be part of an overall marketing campaign consisting of direct mail. We added a small web application to collect customer inquiries and set it up to email the owner every time someone submitted their info. The entire project cost little more than what the client was paying per month under his previous senario!
